For the last three to four days, people have been experiencing severe cold in the state.  Due to cyclonic circulation created in south Rajasthan, the Meteorological Department has forecast a cold wave for the next two days.

 According to the Meteorological Department, on January 17 and 18, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Deesa, Saurashtra, Kutch, Porbandar.  Bhavnagar, Rajkot will increase in the cold.  It may be cold on January 19 in Dharaka and Kutch.  After two days of severe chills, the prevalence of cold will decrease in most areas.

 Nalia has become one of the coolest cities in Gujarat, with a spark of cold.

 In Rajkot, coldest temperatures were recorded at 7.6 degrees Celsius, Bhuj 8.7 degrees, Porbandar 9.1 degrees, Mahua 8.9 degrees, Surat 9.8 degrees, Gandhinagar 9.8 degrees and Ahmedabad 10.7 degrees.

 9 degrees in Ahmedabad on January 17, 8 degrees in Rajkot, 13 degrees in Surat and 7 degrees cold in Kutch, 11 degrees in Ahmedabad on January 18, 10 degrees in Rajkot, 14 degrees in Surat and 9 degrees cold in Kutch, 12 degrees in Ahmedabad on January 19, Rajkot. Surat 16 degree and 8 degree cold in Kutch are forecast by the meteorological department.

 It is worth mentioning that, due to climate change, people also experience double seasons.  Two days ago, some areas of Saurashtra also received rainfall due to sudden change in atmosphere.  Farmers are also worried about the poor rainfall in winter.  Cyclonic circulation in southern Rajasthan has been the cause of the bitter cold in the state for the last three to four days.
