Education Qualification

Junior Research Fellow (GSBTM)


Name of the Position Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (No. of Positions: 01)
Eligibility Minimum Qualifications: M.Sc.(Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry) With minimum of 55% marks. Desirable Qualification: – CSIR-UGC-NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred. – Candidates having experience of handling antibiotic resistant bacteria, microbial isolation, metagenomics, molecular biology techniquesand detection of environmental contaminants in water and sediments through LC-MS/GC-MS are encouraged to apply. – Candidates will be required to travel for onsite sample collection and networking with other institutions. – Candidates must have proficiency in scientific writing.
Age Limit Up to 31 years on closing date of advertisement

Fellowship Duration Till the end of the project: 3 years (subject to satisfactory performance)
Fellowship As per GSBTM, DST, GOG guidelines
Project Assistant / JRF (DBT)

Name of the Position Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant (No. of Positions: 01)
Eligibility Minimum Qualifications: M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry) With minimum of 55% marks. Desirable Qualification: – NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred. – Candidates having experience of molecular biology and microbiology techniques are encouraged to apply. – Candidates must have proficiency in scientific writing.
Work The selected candidate is expected to work in metabolic engineering, genome editing/gene knockout and metabolomic analysis via GC, GC-MS and LC-MS.

Duration Till the end of the project [Aug, 2024] (subject to satisfactory performance)
Fellowship As per GBU, GOG guidelines.
